While at St. Olaf, Nathan studies organ with John Ferguson and voice with Tracey Gorman. He is also a member of the St. Olaf Choir. After graduation, Nathan will spend the first half of the year as the Interim Music Director at First Presbyterian Church in Asheville, NC. When this position ends in January he plans to start his graduate organ study at Indiana University studying with Larry Smith. After the completion of his studies, he hopes to become a music director at church somewhere in the midwest.

David Sims is a senior at St. Olaf College, where he is a Church Music-Organ major in the Bachelor of Music program. He left his hometown of Champaign, IL to study psychology or physics or something else sensible, but soon found that he loved music too much not to make it his life. He keeps busy as the president and bass section leader of the Choir, useful diversions after St. Olaf's two recital organs were hit by lightning and flooded the same week this fall. His dream job would be conducting a choir by day, accompanying silent movies on a Wurlitzer by night, doubling also as a teacher, church organist, and psychologist.
