2010-2011 Tuesday Recital Series For twelve years the Lunchtime Organ Recitals were part of our weekly outreach in music. The series has been temporarily suspended due to the preparation for and construction of the new light rail line down Cedar Street (and in front of our church). According to the reports we have received the train will be in operation sometime in the year 2014. Hopefully the recital series will commence anew sometime after that. The refinement of the music program has made the Church of Saint Louis a beacon, drawing those whose spirits would be nourished by the sound of glorious liturgical music. The 1998 Casavant Frères Organ, the Laura L'Allier and Raymond Houle memorial organ, continues to draw guest organists from around the country to perform recitals for Concert Series and Tuesday "Lunch-time" Recitals. Some of the works performed have been specially Commissioned pieces which had their debut at the Church of Saint Louis. Everyone is invited to come and enjoy this musical and spiritual experience.
